Service Spotlight

Dance/Movement Therapy

Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT) is a modality of creative arts therapy that utilizes movement as a way to foster emotional, social and physical integration. Movement is our primary language of communication; prior to people learning to speak, we communicate through movement. DMT provides a space for individuals to not only strengthen themselves physically, but also strengthen the mind-body connection. Through movement, clients will also be able to explore a variety of different concepts that may be difficult to verbally process.
